Police confirmed that a few people were killed and others were missing in the incident Em Terminal in Western Province due to strong winds snatched on Wednesday afternoon.
Provincial deputy commissioner, Mr. Stevenson told VOA that the preliminary report he received, police found the bodies of young men. He said that on the Terminal has about 10 people, of which 6 people were swimming away from the boat and was rescued. He pointed out that a few others have not found until 6 pm and 30 pm. He concluded the first step that the West Terminal can be caused by negligence of the driver of the boat while the captain fled after the incident.
